1) How many days do I need to book a surf class?
You can close the reservation until the same day of the class in the + 34/609482823 or in email@example.com although the ideal is to make the reservation at least 5 days before to guarantee the correct organization of the groups.
2) And for the accommodation How many days do I need to make the reservation?
As soon as we confirm the availability of the accommodation, ideally we will reserve it to guarantee the room. As soon as 24 hours pass, we will have to confirm the availability of the accommodation again.
3) Can you modify the days of the reservation?
There is no problem in changing the days, always warning in time.
4) What if I have to cancel my reservation?
If you make the cancellation 15 days before the entrance to the accommodation you will be charged 100% of the reservation. If you cancel the reservation during the 15 days before arrival at the accommodation unless you are having a justified reasons you will lose the advance requested. With surf lessons there is more flexibility.

Bathing suit, towel, flip flops but above all good energy and desire to have fun. The school puts all the surfing material
2) What is the recommended age to start surfing?
Surfing is for all ages. There is no specific age but it is essential to know how to swim and to have a little autonomy. Normally from 5 or 6 years old we usually have children who start surfing.
3) Is learning surfing just for kids?
Surfing is a sport that can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age. You just have to feel like having fun. We teach surfing for all ages and levels and remember that we always separate the classes in a homogeneous way by ages and levels to take advantage of classes to the fullest. There are many adults in our surf lessons.
4) How do we organize groups?
They are organized by age and level to ensure safety and proper learning.
5) How many people are in each group?
We organize small groups of 5-7 students per instructor.
6) What days can you come to surf lessons?
We teach every day throughout the year. We have courses of 1, 2, 5, 7 days and of weekend but we make the courses according to your availability. We give total flexibility.
7) What time is it recommended to be in the School?
The ideal is to arrive between 15-20 minutes before to organize the groups and prepare yourself.
8) Can I take surfing lessons if I do not need accommodation?
Of course. You can do the classes that you want.
9) Can you keep the material after class?
In surf lessons this is ALL included. If you want to keep the material, there is no problem. We have a supplement of 10 € per pax / day that includes surfboard + wetsuit.
10) What are the class schedules?
During the months of July and August classes are held at different times.
10-12pm / 11-13pm / 12-14pm / 16-18pm / 18-20pm. The best hours to do the class are first thing in the morning (10-12pm) and last in the afternoon (18-20pm) as this is when the sea conditions are better and there is less influx of people. During the other months you have classes in the morning from 11-13am and from 16-18pm.

3) What do you need to bring?
In the surf camp you have the tents already assembled so you only have to bring your sleeping bag, a mat or inflatable mattress and want to have fun.

We organize the surf camp in an area reserved for the school in the 1st campsite closest to the beach and the school that has bar-restaurant-cafeteria, swimming pool, tennis court, supermarket, services and showers, washing machines and dryers, park children, night surveillance …

1) What is the material of the School?
We have the best material on the market. We renew material every year. All of our surf wetsuits are Quiksilver & Roxy, the school’s main sponsors.
We have polyester and epoxy shortboards and longboards of all sizes, as well as softboards. More than 300 surfboards. Also rent sup, bodyboard, skate, longskate and carvers.
2) If I rent a surfboard Can I try other surfboards?
At school we have a great variety of material that you can try without problem whenever you want. There is long term rental and you can take the material several days.

We open all year. From March 15 to November 15 every day and the rest of the year, weekends, bridges, holidays and when there are good waves.

5) What other things can be done besides surfing?
The area offers a variety of activities. Routes by the cliffs, tourism to know the cultural heritage, hiking. From the city council of Ribamontán to the sea are realized every weekends animation and cultural celebrations. This Cabácerno and Santander at a step, the new Botín Center and a thousand things to see and do in Cantabria.
1) What are the best months to come to surf to Somo?
In Playa de Somo we receive good waves throughout the year, from March to June and from September to November the months of better waves and smaller influx of people. In July and August there are also good waves and good atmosphere but there are more people on the beach. In winter the waves are usually bigger and the water is colder, but we go with good wetsuits and surf all year round in Cantabria.
