Firewire FRK Plus 6.2 Squash Board

The FRK Plus surfboard is a classic high performance squash tail shortboard that has been improved with the help of Kelly since it was released.

The most notable difference of this new Plus version is the evolution of the round tail, typical of the FRK, to a squash tail, obtaining a larger surface area in the tail of the board and greater skid when making turns. In addition, small modifications have been made to the concaves, the rocker and the location of the fins to adjust to the increase in dimensions due to the new tail. The narrow nose is typical of shortboards and copies that of the original model, which maintains its reactivity. This does not mean that the paddling is less, since it has a very good exit in the wave thanks to the extra volume under the chest.

This new model supports smaller waves and is perfect for those intermediate level surfers who want to experience firsthand what it is like to have a high performance board under their feet.

The Ibolic construction combines the best features of LFT and Helium. Which makes it a stronger, lighter and higher performing surfboard.
