FRK is the long-awaited collaboration between Kelly Slater and Dann Mann. There is a rather curious story with this board, and it is that Mann shaped this board for the first time for Kelly in 2015, but it was not until 2017 that it was not seen in the water.

The level of surfing that Kelly demonstrated in Trestles was so impressive that the rumor of a new model spread like wildfire. This encouraged both parties to market the model and Kelly to say that it is the board with which he will seek his last world title.
