The FRK Plus surfboard is a classic high-performance squash tail shortboard that has been improved with Kelly Slater's help since its initial release.

The most notable difference in this new Plus version is the evolution from the original FRK round tail to a squash tail, resulting in a wider surface area at the tail and greater slide when turning. Minor modifications have also been made to the concave, rocker, and fin placement to accommodate the increased dimensions of the new tail. The narrow nose, typical of shortboards, replicates that of the original model, maintaining its responsiveness. This doesn't mean paddling is less efficient, as it offers excellent wave exit thanks to the extra volume under the chest.

This new model handles smaller waves well and is perfect for intermediate surfers who want to experience firsthand what it's like to have a high-performance board under their feet.
